Baikal skullcap extract with 85% Baikalin
Scutellaria baicalensis, German Baikal skullcap, grows in Asia and is used there in traditional medicine, e.g. in Chinese and Japanese wide application. Skullcap is rich in flavonoids e.g. on Baikalin and has a broad effect on the human body. The plant has an antibacterial, antiviral, antifungal (against Candida infections) effect, it is also anti-inflammatory, antioxidant and fights free radicals. The antibacterial effect also affects antibiotic-resistant bacteria and the dangerous Staphylococcus aureus. In diseases with fever, it has an antipyretic effect. It also helps with bacterial and viral infections of the gastrointestinal tract, which are often manifested by diarrhea. The Asian medicinal plant also lowers blood pressure and blood sugar levels, calms, protects the liver, slows down arteriosclerosis by inhibiting the aggregation of blood platelets and lowering cholesterol. Due to its anti-inflammatory effect, skullcap also slows down an allergic reaction, on the skin it counteracts itching, skin rashes and atopic eczema. It also alleviates the symptoms of rheumatism and other inflammatory diseases.
Composition: Baikal skullcap extract 4:1 400mg standardized to 85% Baikalin, gelatine capsules, bulking agent: cellulose
Dosage: 1 capsule about 10 minutes before meals up to 3 times a day. With a sensitive stomach to the food.
